Arsenal have reportedly given Arsene Wenger till the end of the month to decide on his future at the Emirates as they begin search for his replacement.
The Frenchman has refused to extend his stay with the Gunners past the current campaign and may finally leave the club in May after spending over twenty years at North London. Wenger has however coyed on commenting on his future which has sparked several speculations regarding his future.
There are reports that the Gunners have offered Arsene Wenger a new two-year deal to remain with the club but the Frenchman has not decided whether he will sign or not but reports in the Sun claim that he will have to make a decision very soon as he is expected to meet with the club bosses at the end of the month during the international break.
When asked about his commitment to the Gunners, the 67-year-old said: ‘I don’t need to convince anyone – my preference has always been Arsenal.
‘I am not looking for jobs at other clubs, or from other people. The club is free to make the decision it wants and I will respect that.’
Arsenal have been linked with several top managers with the likes of Massimiliano Allegri, Thomas Tuchel and Jorge Sampaoli are constantly tipped to replace Arsene Wenger at the Emirates but might have to wait for the green light before making a move.
