Former Liverpool Star Predicts West Ham Vs Chelsea Game

Former Liverpool Star Gave ‘Favourable’ Prediction To Chelsea As They Clash West Ham

Michael Owen has stated his prediction for West Ham Vs Chelsea game.

Former Liverpool man Michael Owen has predicted  that West Ham will sure suffer a defeat when they meet Chelsea in their next Premier League game.

West Ham host their London rivals on Monday night and have already beaten the blues once at home this season in a 2-1 victory in the EFL Cup.

The Stamford Bridge club however won the league clash on their own home ground on the opening day of the season by the same scoreline.

And  after consecutive draws against Watford and West Brom, the Hammers will be hoping to return to winning ways. Chelsea are firm favourites to win the premier league title this season as they are 10 points clear at the summit and are also in great form.

West Ham on the other hand are currently ninth-placed in the league table and have managed to recover from their poor start to the campaign.

And former Liverpool and England striker Michael Owen has tipped Chelsea to win the match.

Owen, writing in his BetVictor column, stated:

“It promises to be a Cup-tie atmosphere at the London Stadium with plenty of goals and incidents – but it is Champions-elect Chelsea to come out on top for me,”

West Ham are looking to consolidate their place in the top half of the league table and adjust to life at their new ground.

Slaven Bilic’s side have been unbeaten in their last three games since a 4-0 loss at the hands of Manchester City.

Chelsea currently seem unstoppable as their key forward players (like Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, and Pedro Rodriguez) are in full form and not held by serious injuries. They look forward to winning the match so to get closer to grabbing the title in the first season of new manager Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
