Marseille president Jacques-Henri Eyraud has revealed that the future of Mario Balotelli at the club will be decided at the end of this season.
The Marseille supremo made this known in an interview with French media portal Le Dauphine.
According to him, it’s too early to make a decision on whether or not the former Liverpool player will extend his stay beyond this summer.
Mario Balotelli has been in very good form for his French Ligue 1 club after netting five goals in eight appearances since his transfer earlier this year.
The Italian international striker signed for Marseille during the winter transfer window.
He joined the Europa League campaigners on a six-month contract until this summer after the former Inter Milan and Manchester City player fell out with his coach at Nice.
Mario Balotelli left Nice to join fellow French Ligue 1 club Marseille in January after he fell out with club manager and former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira.
He was left out of the Nice squad by the 1998 World Cup winner for the final five games before his exit from the club.
Mario Balotelli would be hoping to continue his good form for Marseille when they face Angers in their French Ligue 1 clash later this month.
