Liverpool winger Ovie Ejaria has revealed that his transfer to English Championship side Reading is the right step for his football development.
The Nigerian-born English player was speaking in his first interview after completing a loan move to the struggling Championship outfit.
Earlier this week, the 21-year-old joined Reading from Liverpool on a short-term loan deal until the end of the season.
He is the first signing made by the Reading manager Jose Gomez since he was appointed the new boss of the Royals last month.
Ovie Ejaria also revealed that the style of play adopted by Reading under Jose Gomez will suit him and also aid his growth.
This is his second loan spell this season having earlier featured for Scottish giants Rangers in the first half of the current campaign.
Ejaria joined Rangers on a season-long loan deal at the start of this season only for him to end the loan spell abruptly in December after failing to adapt to the physical demands associated with the top flight of Scottish football.
The young winger found the back of the net on two occasions in his 28 appearances for Rangers before returning to Premier League table toppers Liverpool last month.
