Former Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has revealed that he has not made a decision about his future.
The Chelsea legend talked about the possibility of retiring from football in an interview with Rams TV ahead of the crucial Championship Playoff final clash with former European champions Aston Villa.
According to him, no decision has been made on his future with the focus presently on the Villa game.
Ashley Cole returned to English football earlier this year after joining Derby County on a short-term deal until this summer.
The 38-year-old has helped the Rams to the playoff final where they have the opportunity to secure a return to the top flight of English football.
Derby County will return to the Premier League if they beat Aston Villa in the playoff final scheduled to take place at the Wembley Stadium on Monday afternoon.
The Rams sealed their place in the final of the playoffs after they recovered from a 1-0 first leg semifinal deficit at home to beat favourites Leeds United 4-2 thereby securing a 4-3 aggregate win.
Ashley Cole had a good career at both Arsenal and Chelsea where he won many trophies before signing for AS Roma.
He left the Italian Serie A club for LA Galaxy in the MLS where his contract expired late last year.
