Premier League giants Liverpool will rebuff the interest of Italian Serie A Champions Juventus in star player Mohamed Salah according to widespread reports coming out of the British media.
The specific report from the Daily Express claim that the Reds have no intention of selling the Egyptian international player.
It was revealed that the Merseysiders are confident that they will be able to repel the interest of the Italians with the club in a sound financial state.
The Reds recently announced pre-tax profits of £125m in their last financial year.
Liverpool are determined to hold on to Salah unlike previous situations involving players like Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho.
They repelled an interest from Arsenal in 2013 for Suarez only for them to cave in when Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona came calling in the summer of 2014.
Barcelona signed the Uruguayan international player in a then club-record £75m deal before the Nou Camp giants repeated the feat in their pursuit of Coutinho.
Just like Luis Suarez, Brazilian international Coutinho also joined Barcelona from Liverpool in January 2018.
Liverpool are in the box seat in their quest to keep Salah at Anfield as he has a long-term contract at the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
