Summer signing Fabinho has had a mixed start to his career at Liverpool since he swapped France for the Premier League.
The Brazilian international midfielder signed for Liverpool from French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco during the summer’s transfer window after the Reds paid a whopping sum of £40m for his services.
After a less than impressive start to life at Liverpool, the 25-year-old has been linked with a return to France with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
His time with the Reds has been in stark contrast with what was obtainable with his stay in France with AS Monaco.
He scored 31 goals and provided 21 assists in 233 appearances for the 2016/17 French Ligue 1 champions.
Fabinho was a key member of the Monaco team that won the league title in the penultimate French Ligue 1 season and also helped the principality club to the semifinals of the Champions League in the same season.
He started his Liverpool career on the bench but injuries to the midfield duo of Jordan Henderson and fellow summer signing Naby Keita opened the window of opportunity for him.
He took the opportunity in the home games against Red Star Belgrade (Champions League) and Cardiff City (Premier League) before he produced a below par outing against title rivals Arsenal.
