The statement credited to English Premier outfit Arsenal manage Unai Emery on the summer transfer window is not as palatable as it used to be.
The Spanish boss has always been positive about the summer transfer window but the recent defeat to their London rivals Chelsea in the Europa League final makes him deliver a damning message on the future of some of the players.
The former PSG boss has made it clear that some of the players will have to leave the club as he unwittingly expressed his disappointment with them.
- Tottenham now ahead of United in landing exciting winger
- Man United get good transfer news from West Ham
- Confirmed: Chelsea Loanee To Terminate Loan Spell For Inter Move
The Europa League served as an opportunity for the Arsenal manager to prove a point by delivering a title in his debut season but that didn’t happen which resulted in him missing out of the top four in the English Premier League.
Going by his claims, there is expected to be an overhaul of the team while new faces will be expected.
What is, therefore, more disturbing is the fact that manager Unai Emery might not have more than £40 million to engage in the summer transfer window which means he will not be able to do enough deals.
This remains a major challenge for the North London outfit and the Spanish boss.
