Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane remains adamant that none of his men will be allowed to leave the club in January.
A handful of Real Madrid players have been linked with various clubs across Europe as the January transfer window moves closer.
Wales international Gareth Bale has been strongly linked with a move back to the premier league in recent times. There were speculations that Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are keen on bringing him back to England despite his unpleasant injury record.
However, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has dismissed the idea of any departures in January.
Speaking about the Welsh attacker after his side’s win on Saturday, the French boss said the player remains an important member of his team, despite his challenges with injuries and fitness.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star player has not played for the La Liga club since September due to injury and has been missed by manager Zidane.
Zinedine also added that his side won’t allow any player leave the Bernabeu during the January transfer window, but they might instead take advantage of the window to sign new players.
The Champions League winners are still struggling this season so far, and are still far behind league leaders Barcelona in the La Liga.
A few days back, there were reports that the management at Man United have promised to sign at least three superstars for Mourinho next summer, and Bale’s name was mentioned, alongside Atletico’s Antoine Griezmann.
