Emerging reports reveal that former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane could be reconsidering his decision and might pick up the job as Jose Mourinho’s successor at Manchester United.
The Portuguese manager might be on his way out of the club anytime soon as a result of the poor results that have been experienced in recent time.
Mourinho’s men failed again to deliver a win at Old Trafford on Tuesday night as they were forced to a draw by the visiting Spanish side Valencia in the Champiuons League.
Before then, the Red Devils were defeated 3-1 by West Ham United and have been eliminated from the Carabao Cup by a relegated team, Derby.
This has raised speculations that the former Chelsea boss will be shown the way out with Zidane mentioned as the suitable replacement.
It was earlier reported that the French gaffer will not be interested in picking the job at United but latest report by RMC hints that he might have had a change of mind.
The report added that Zidane wants his fellow Frenchman Evra to be part of the coaching staff should he end up at the Old Trafford.
Evra is well familiar with the Old Trafford being his former club and will help Zidane settle quickly.
Finally, Mourinho says he wants star player to stay
