This United Player Is Not Leaving Man United, Fans Are Unhappy

Maroaune Fellaini

With the January window transfer in view, a new report emerged that Manchester United player Marouane Fellaini will remain at the Old Trafford this season despite receiving interest from other clubs.

Weeks back, teams like West Ham United and Serie A giant AC Milan have reportedly expressed an interest in signing him.

The Belgian found himself in a big mess of criticism from the United faithfuls  after committing a big blunder of giving away a late penalty against Everton minutes after coming on. Many United supporters are asking for his head, urging the hairy player to leave the Old Trafford.

However, Mark Ogden of ESPN recently claimed that United boss Jose Mourinho is determined not to lose Fellaini over the January transfer window.

We feel Mourinho is not trying to make him leave because some of his players are prone to leave next month. A player like Morgan Schneiderlin is set to move to Everton while Bastian Schweinsteiger’s future at the club is not presently certain.

Furthermore, with the now-established midfield trio of Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba getting things right in the midfield, chances will be hard to come by for a player still actively resented by a large section of supporters.

Nevertheless, Fellaini is not a player who should be undermined, owning to the fact that he can do things when nobody expects anything. His thunderous equaliser against West Bromwich Albion back in 2014 is an example.

Even though Fellaini hasn’t made a Premier League start since early November, if he can prove himself whenever he get a chance, he might find his way back into the heart of the fans.
