Manchester United’s interest in Juventus chief Fabio Paratici has been laid to rest after the Italian outfits disclose that he will remain with the club as their sporting director.
Juventus president Andrea Agnelli confirmed that the club’s general manager Beppe Moratta would be leaving and would be immediately replaced by Paratici.
The Old Trafford side have made their interest in the Juventus chief with a bid to have him as they plan to restructure the club and will want the Italian chief to be a part of it.
Morrata’s exit might be a cause to United’s failure to secure Paratici as his contract with Juventus officially comes to an end today (Thursday) after spending 8 years with the club.
It is expected that the Red Devils shift their attention elsewhere or continue to maintain the already existing structure at the club.
The need for restructuring at the Theatre of Dreams came after the rift between manager Jose Mourinho’s bust-up with the executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward who failed to permit the signatures of some players reportedly needed by the boss in the summer.
