UCL: See the player to lead Chelsea to Greece and it is not Olivier Giroud

Alvaro Morata

World Cup winner and Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud had his first start for the Blues over the weekend in a match against Cardiff at Stamford Bridge.

The match against the Bluebirds saw Chelsea top rated striker, Eden Hazard scoring a hat trick with two goal-assists from the France international.

Giroud during the match showed how unselfish he can be and how sacrificial he can be for Chelsea.

This recent act of his has earned him applause from many of the Blues fans.

However, while many football fans might be thinking that Giroud has beating Alvaro Morata to his spot in the Blues senior team over his last performance and that Morata might not start for the Blues anytime soon.

It seems Chelsea coach, Sarri Maurizio is not thinking in that direction.

Sarri in a statement talked about giving the Spanish player another chance despite his poor performance.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, Sarri has confirmed that Alvaro Morata will be the main striker for the Blues as they travel to Greece to play against POAK in the Uefa Europa League.

Going by Coach Sarri recent statement, it seems he plans to rotate the two strikers as he stressed that they both have different characteristics and there are different matches they can play.
