Two major players leaving Arsenal

Mesut Ozil

It was earlier reported that North London outfit Arsenal boss Unai Emery plans to have a major overhaul on the team to be able to reduce the financial burden so that they can accommodate new signings.

It is claimed that the Gunners boss have identified German international Mesut Ozil and former Man United player Henrikh Mkhitaryan as the two major players who would be allowed to leave the club at the end of the season.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil have been a major part of the Spanish boss’s team as they have failed to win the competition in the team. Unai Emery is of the opinion that they both have no place in the team anymore as they are not in his plans against next season.

However, It has been claimed that both players earn up to £500,000-a-week which could help free up space as they plan to engage in the coming summer window after a challenging season.

The North London outfit are hoping they can be able to secure qualification to the Champions League next season with a top four finish in the Premier League so as to be able to compete for a title next season.
