Galatasaray has offered Liverpool £850,000 to allow Mamadou Sakho join the Turkish club on loan this January, according to reports.
The France international has not had the best of time under Jurgen Klopp this season due to his behaviour. The Reds boss was disgusted with the defender’s attitude and sent him home from the club’s pre season tour in United States of America; subsequently he was banished to the Under-23 where he has remained and has not made single appearance for the first team this season.
A host of clubs in Europe has been linked with a move for the 26-year-old with reports that West Bromvich Albion and AC Milan are keen to sign him in the winter transfer window.
Report in AMK Sport have now claimed that Galatasaray have now emerged as favorites to nick his signing ahead of other suitors and are willing to take Sakho on loan for the rest of the season.
The French defender who has fallen out of favour with Jurgen Klopp will hope to move or risk staying with the reserves at Anfield. The Reds boss could also be tempted with the cash offer from the Turkish giants, leaving him with the option of reassessing Sakho’s situation at the end of the season.
