Transfer Dilemma : Who should Sarri choose between this youngsters?

Maurizio Sarri

In his first month at Stamford Bridge— after training with his the players he inherited from Antonio Conte, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri decided against selling Hudson-Odoi during the summer window.

The former Napoli boss was pleased with the youngster’s display in training, hence, he decided to include the 18-year-old attacker in his pre-season squad list.

During the pre-season friendlies, the England youth international impressed the manager and the supporters who took to Twitter to praise the immensely talented youngster.

To shorten the whole story, Sarri stopped the winger from going on loan because he wants him to remain under his watch.

19 matches into the season, Sarri has failed to give the player much time on the field of play.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has started just two League games and he’s becoming uncomfortable with the way things are turning out for him.

Meanwhile, Sarri’s move for Borussia Dortmund’s striker Christian Pulisic has received a major boost.

The Bundesliga giants are ready to let go of the USA prodigy — who has seen his place taken by England youngster Jadon Sancho, but on one condition and that’s if the Italian manager is willing to release Callum Hudson-Odoi in January.

Dortmund manager Lucien Favre is said to have fallen in love with Hudson-Odoi’s speed and attacking prowess and he wants him as a replacement for the out-of-favour Christian Pulisic.

With the condition attached to Pulisic’s signature, Sarri must be in a very confused state as he didn’t know his next line of action whether to release the inexperience Hudson-Odoi or to cool interest in the off-form Pulisic.

Who should Sarri choose : Hudson-Odoi or Christian Pulisic

It is proven beyond doubt that Christian Pulisic possesses wonderful speed, great dribbling skills and awesome goalscoring abilities —all of which the Blues are currently lacking at the final third of the pitch.

Considering the amount of money that would be spent on the 20-year-old striker, Sarri will surely give Pulisic more time on the pitch and see if he’s the best solution to his current goalscoring problem.

As for the England youngster, a move to the Westfalenstadion Stadium sounds great but it’s not the best.

Dortmund have so many established strikers on their radar, hence, regular action will be very hard to get should he decide to join the Bundesliga side.

CONCLUSION

Sarri knows how to get the players he wanted — Jorginho as a case study — and he must negotiate a new deal which won’t include swapping players.
