Monaco star Thomas Lemar is set to force through a move to the Emirate Stadium after agreeing personal terms ahead of a potential £45m transfer to Arsenal according to The Sun.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted a week ago that he’s still looking to reinforce his squad having already signed Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon and Sead Kolasinac on a free, and the Monaco star has emerged as a primary target recently.

Reports have indicated that the Gunners are in talks with the Ligue 1 Champions over a deal to sign the youngster, and the Mirror recently reported that Arsenal were hoping to secure a deal worth about £45m having seen a former £40m bid rejected.

Monaco have so far proven hard to deal with as they are desperate to keep their title winning squad, with Tiemoue Bakayoko and Bernardo Silva already gone, while Benjamin Mendy and Kylian Mbappe have joined Lemar in being linked with a transfer away from the French club this summer transfer window.

However, the latest report from The Sun indicates the French international is ready to force through his move to the Emirate Stadium by demanding the French club sell and has already agreed personal terms over a deal believed to be worth £90,000-a-week.

Lemar has just come off the back of a brilliant season that saw him net 14 goals and assist 17 to help fire Monaco to the Ligue 1 title so you can understand why Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants him.
