It is now glaring that Liverpool boss Klopp need to strengthen his squad this month. Nevertheless, Klopp and the management have focused more on signing new deals with their current crop of players.
The Reds recently successfully have secured new deals with Samba playmaker Philippe Coutinho and English defender Joe Gomez. New reports now indicate that the Merseysiders have agreed another new deal with Adam Lallana this time.
Just earlier this month, the Express stated that the Reds will be offering Lallana a fresh contract to ward off interest from teams like Tottenham Hotspur and Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
And just yesterday, they insisted in yet another exclusive report that the former Southampton star has finally agreed a new deal with Liverpool, which will make him earn £120,000-a-week, £24.96million (I.e $31million) in four years.
The 28-year-old England international joined the Anfield club when Brendan Rodgers was still boss at the club. Under Brendan’s management, he remained inconsistent. But now that Jurgen Klopp is boss, he has been in brilliant form under the new manager.
Klopp has utilized Adam effectively in both the midfield and in the attacking third. This season so far he has scored 7 goals and has provided 7 assists in 20 league appearances for the Reds. So we think he actually deserved to get a pay rise.
