Next Didier Drogba tipped for big things at Stamford Bridge after heroics for England Under-21s

Tammy Abraham

Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham is destined for great things in the nearest future, according to England U-21 manager Aidy Boothroyd.

The 20-year-old forward, currently on a season-long loan with Swansea in the English Premier League, played a massive role in England’s 3-1 win over Scotland at the Riverside last night as the Three Lions secured a huge three points in qualification.

After doubling his team’s advantage with a spot kick just after the half time break, the forward made the assist for his former Chelsea teammate Dominic Solanke, who now plays for Liverpool to put the match to bed.

Following his goalscoring heroics at Bristol City in the English Championship last season, the young striker has scored three goals in all competitions for Swansea City so far this campaign.

Boothroyd said the forward is one of those strikers who will go through some dry spells and does not score goals but he is capable and enthusiastic to play, he literarily lights up the dressing room and field of play when he is called upon to go out there.

He further stated that the Chelsea man gets buzzes off everyone, and that he’s got a really good chance of developing fast into a really brilliant player.
