Many Chelsea fans were impressed with the manner Michy Batshuayi ended the just concluded Premier League season at Stamford Bridge.
Even though the Belgium international wasn’t given a chance for much of the season, the former Marseille forward pushed his way into the side towards the end of the season, and he made his marks.
The 23-year-old was able to score a couple of goals in the last few games of the campaign, including the important goal that helped sealed the Premier League title last season.
And currently on his international duty with Belgium, the youngster keeps repeating his impressive feat to prove he is now in a much better position than he was some weeks ago.
He has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, and it is understood that Chelsea are not interested in selling him, but to send him out on loan to other club playing in the Premier League.
In a new development however, Goal are reporting that the talented player is set to remain with Chelsea this summer, even though he is also considering his options.
It was added that he will agree to stay with Chelsea on one condition, which is the assurances that his game time will be based on merit.
Romelu Lukaku is getting closer to completing a move to Chelsea, and Batshuayi appears to want a fair shot next season. A fair shot is something Antonio Conte denied him last season by continuously fielding a struggling Diego Costa ahead of him.
