Arsenal will go into their Champions League match at Ludogorets with a host of star players missing from the trip. Arsenal defeated the Bulgarian club 6-0 at the Emirates last month and will be seeking for a similar display and result as they fight for top spot along with Paris Saint-Germain. This is a task they will have to achieve without the services of some of their influential players.
Ahead of the match, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed the quartet of Theo Walcot, Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal and Santi Carzorla will miss the match against Ludogorets.
And finally some team news from the boss…

Walcott has been ruled out of the match despite training on Monday while Carzorla will miss the match because of an Achilles injury. Bellerin misses the match after picking up a slight knock in training and could be replaced by Carl Jenkinson.
Concerning Jenkinson Wenger stated: “Bellerin had a little incident in the last minute of training. He is in the squad. I have not named the team yet, I will decide that tomorrow. He is in the squad. I have plenty of right backs in the squad, three or four.”
Arsenal had some good news going into the match as both Oliver Giroud and Aaron Ramsey are free from injury and fit after coming off the bench in the 4-1 victory over Sunderland and could feature tonight.
Looking ahead to tonight’s encounter Wenger had this to say “The (last) result was flattering for us because we scored many goals but I don’t forget that we were facing a good attacking Ludogorets team in that first half. When the game was very tight, we needed a strong defensive performance to stop them being dangerous because they had many chances as well. We will have to again.”
