Ahead of the summer transfer window, La Liga giants Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a summer move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
However, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, in a recent interview, has assured that the Spanish club do not need to sign the Belgian forward, stating his classic insights.
And even though Real Madrid seem to be ready to do all they could to persuade him to come over to the Spanish capital, Chelsea are also confident that Hazard will extend his contract until 2021 after holding talks with his advisors.
And Guillem, speaking to Sky Sports, noted that the Stamford Bridge club do not want to sell Hazard, and that Marco Asensio’s development at Zinedine Zidane’s team could impact on their desire to sign the Belgium international.
Balague, like many others, believes that this year’s summer transfer window will be one of the biggest in history in terms of spending, and that some premier league clubs will splash the cash when the window begins.
He believes Zidane has a player – in the person of Marco Asensio, who has played fantastically in a similar role to Eden, and so, the Belgian will not go to La Liga this summer.
Chelsea are still regarded as firm favourites to win the premier league title at the end of the season, and are set to host Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge on Monday in their next premier league game.
