The player bemoaned the lack of silverware for his team last season and has stated that he is going to put that right because when he arrived at the Merseyside to play for Liverpool his dream was to win Europe’s premier competition for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The Egypt international became the quickest player to score 50 goals for Liverpool as he notched up his half-century against Red Star Belgrade last month in what was just his 65th appearance for the club.
