“The Rules For Me Are Different” Jose Mourinho Reveals Woes At United

Jose Mourinho

Following Manchester United’s 0-0 draw with Hull City in the Premier League last night, United manager Jose Mourinho was not in a quite pleasant mood as he insisted that the rules are different for him.

United begun on a good note, moving the ball around with purpose. They however struggled to utilise appropriately many clear openings in front of goal.

In  the second half too, even more frustration arrived for them as they were still unable to break the deadlock – even while been close to doing that during the latter stages.

Following an obvious frustrating evening, the Portuguese coach was quick to vent his frustration as he thinks the rules for him are different.

“Unlike other managers, I am told I could be sent to the stand if I show too much passion.

“We needed to score, we needed more time to play. If you played 35-40 minutes in both halves, it is a lot. I think Hull City tried to see where they could go, the way they could behave and tried to see what the referee would allow them to do.” he said.

Being realistic, Mourinho is known to display the victim stuff many times. Even while he was still at Real Madrid, he always thought officials love Barca and hated him.

But perhaps this is a tactic in itself. Maybe he was trying to create a story that forces public attention away from the real story. The real story here is that his side were not able to score in front of goal.
