Everton star player Ross Barkley has emerged as a target for both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur this summer and has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park for much of this summer.
And in a new development, there are reports that the Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has told clubs interested in the player that they must pay £30million for the player’s signature.
The Englishman has failed to agree a new contract with Everton and has been told he is unlikely to feature in their plans.
Even though a handful of top English clubs are said to be after him, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are known to be very interested in signing the 23-year-old, and he is likely to either move to Stamford Bridge or White Hart Lane.
However, Barkley’s current manager Koeman said his side are yet to receive an official offer for the player, but believes £30m won’t be a bad fee for him.
It was also said that the Merseyside club are looking at bringing in Gylfi Sigurdsson to replace Barkley at the club.
Last season, Barkley, in 36 premier league games, scored 5 goals and provided 8 assists to help Everton finish seventh on the league table.
Tottenham are yet to bring in any player this summer while Chelsea have landed four players already.
