One of the hottest prospects in the Premier League right now is Everton star forward Romelu Lukaku and his club are understood to be holding out for a world-record fee for him.
And right now in a new development, his agent Mino Raiola has stated that the player can leave Goodison Park if ‘certain clubs’ can make a move for him this summer.
It is understood that the Toffees have slapped a £100 million valuation on the Belgium international, though such a huge bill is unlikely to drive away top clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United.
Both premier league giants have been heavily linked with the 24-year-old.
The Belgian scored 25 goals in 38 appearances last season and has decided not to sign an extension on his deal that expires in 2019. It is understood that Lukaku needs Champions League football, and Everton can not offer him that.
Everton boss Ronaldo Koeman insists his side are well placed to cope without the Belgian if he should leave Goodison Park this summer. The club have been linked with Malaga star player Sandro Ramirez as a possible replacement for Lukaku.
Lukaku’s agent Raiola confirmed that his client is set to take another step in his career and will be allowed to do so if some criteria are met by interested clubs.
