Romelu Lukaku Message To Man United Fans By Doing This For His Country

Romelu Lukaku

Manchester United star striker Romelu Lukaku is now Belgium’s all-time record goalscorer with 31 international goals, and he was able to achieve this feat as a 24-year-old.

Lukaku scored the only goal in his country’s win over Japan yesterday and is now ahead of the duo of Bernard Voorhoof and Paul Vam Himst.

Romelu made his debut for his nation in 2010 when he was just 16-year-old, and he has been fantastic since then.

He helped Belgium win a ticket for the 2018 World Cup by scoring ten times in their qualifying campaign – which is another record for the country.

Romelu moved to Manchester United from Everton during the past summer transfer window, and he enjoyed a superb start to his career at the club. He was able to adapt quickly to life at Old Trafford by besting some early records set by some of United’s legends like Ruud van Nistelrooy and Eric Cantona. He scored ten goals in his first ten games for his new side and was instrumental as the Old Trafford club battled rivals Man City for top spot in the English top flight.

He has however failed to score in seven consecutive games for the red devils and has been criticised harshly in recent weeks.

Nevertheless, the talented striker ended his seven-game goal drought with a brace against Mexico last week Friday, and he described himself as a ‘leopard in the box’ that is ‘born to score’.
