Roberto Firmino and wife gives an update on his injury

Brazil international and Liverpool top forward, Roberto Firmino helped the Reds to a second strike in the match against Tottenham, thus, helping them secure a 100 per cent win.

After the second goal, the Brazil international was involved in a head to head collision with Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen.

During the collision, Tottenham and Belgium defended unknowingly hit Firmino in the eyes.

The aftermath of saw Liverpool removing Roberto Firmino off the pitch as he was seen holding his eyes.

Liverpool coach disclosed he doesn’t know how severe the injury was as it happened 60 yards from where he was.

He went on to disclosed that Firmino will be fine but fans will be updated soon.

Well, the Brazil international has taken to his social media where he said the eye injury was a scare as he disclosed that he is now feeling alright.

He went on to appreciate Liverpool fans for their support and he hopes to be back in the right form soon.

Roberto Firmino’s wife also took to the social media to confirm that her husband has return home from the clinic.

A new report also confirmed that Firmino has returned to Anfield alongside club doctor, Andy Massey.
