Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan is certain that star player Wilfried Zaha is worth at least £60m as clubs try to sign him during this summer’s transfer window.
The Ivorian international star has already told senior Crystal Palace officials that he wants to leave the club for a Champions League team.
Crystal Palace have already slapped a transfer fee of around £80m-£100m on the winger and ex-chairman Simon Jordan is adamant that the player is worth the transfer fee.
In a chat with TalkSport, Simon Jordan said Wilfried Zaha is at the same level as Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez.
According to him, Zaha is worth at least £60m just like what Manchester City paid to sign Mahrez from fellow Premier League club Leicester City last summer.
Riyad Mahrez went on to help Manchester City to win the league title in his first season with the Citizens in addition to the Carabao Cup title.
Zaha is a former Manchester United player and he has been linked with a return to Old Trafford four years after he ended his two-year spell as a player with the Red Devils.
He has also been linked with clubs like Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga as well as the London trio of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Zaha could be the direct replacement for wantaway Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard who’s attracting strong interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
