Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is the early favourite to become the new Juventus manager as from the new season after it was revealed that Maximiliano Allegri will step down from the role.
The announcement about Allegri’s imminent exit was made on Friday.
Maximiliano Allegri will leave the Italian Serie A club this summer despite leading them to the league title.
According to Bleacher Report, Ex-Chelsea manager Conte is the front-runner to replace Maximiliano Allegri as the Juventus manager.
Others like Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and former Inter Milan and Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho have also been linked with the job.
Antonio Conte was formerly the manager at Juventus and the job would be a familiar one to him.
He left Juventus to take charge of the Italian national team before becoming the Chelsea manager in 2016.
The Italian tactician led Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first full season at the club thus becoming only the fourth manager to achieve this feat after Arsene Wenger, Jose Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini.
Antonio Conte went on to win the FA Cup title in his second season but it was not enough to keep him in the job after he was sacked last summer with one year left on his Chelsea contract.
He has not returned to the dugout since his experience at Chelsea.
