Chelsea Italian tactician Antonio Conte is believed to be compiling his transfer request for the winter transfer window as the club is set to back him up in order to win trophies this season.
Report according to Turkish media Haberturk via The Transfer Rumour Mill claims that Chelsea are interested in the services of Bayern Leverkusen midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
The report claims that the Blues have agreed a personal terms with the sensational midfielder, and it only remain for both club to negotiate a transfer fee.
The creative midfielder poor starts to the season has affected his starting spot in Bayern, and Conte is keen on taking advantage of the situation to lure the star to Stamford Bridge in January.
Chelsea creative midfielders Oscar and Cesc Fabregas performances have been below excellent this season and as a result, both players have fallen down the pecking order in Conte’s 3-4-3. The players have been tipped to leave the Stamford Bridge in January with top teams, Inter Milan and AC Milan interested in their services respectively.
Chelsea continued their outstanding performance in the EPL yesterday when they defeated Middlesbrough by a goal to nil at Riverside Stadium, with both Oscar and Fabregas in the substitute bench.
However, Chelsea will have to mass out a fee of about £17m, if they are to sign the 22-years old star.
