Real Madrid has offered Karim Benzema to Chelsea and Arsenal, according to reports.
Reports in Spanish outlet Diario Gol have it that the La Liga giants are keen to sell the French striker next summer due to his recent poor form in front of goal.
Benzema has scored 12 goals in the current La Liga season and Real president Florentino Perez is understood to be frustrated at his current form.
Zinedine Zidane and his boys were shocked to be dumped out of the Copa del Rey by Real Sociedad with reports Perez became more frustrated with Benzema’s performance in the match.
The 29-year-old striker was booed by fans last Sunday in their Cup defeat to Sociedad and could be offloaded in the next summer transfer window.
It is understood that Spanish giants have made the striker available for sale, with suggestions Chelsea who are in search of a top striker to replace Diego Coasta also part of the list of clubs alongside Arsenal and Paris Saint Germain.
Although the Blues will prefer to do a deal for his teammate, Alvaro Morata who is also poised to leave the Santiago Bernabeu next summer.
Benzema has been severally linked with a move to the Emirates in recent years and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is believed to be a long term admirer of the striker but a move for the French forward is dependent on the transfer situation of Alexis Sanchez who Is currently stalling on a new deal with the Gunners.
