Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata has reportedly told friends that he wants to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer amid intense speculations over his future.
The Spaniard has been a subject of transfer interest from a host of clubs in Europe since last summer when his parent club, Real triggered a clause in his contract at Juventus amid serious interest from the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint Germain.
Morata has struggled to nail a place at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, making few appearances as Zinedine Zidane preferred Karim Benzema even though, the 24-year-old has netted 15 goals in the Spanish La Liga.
Reports in Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim that Morata is plotting a summer move away from Real Madrid in search of better first team opportunities.
The report also claim that the striker also told his close pal Sergio Ramos about his intentions to leave the Spanish capital this summer.
Chelsea are in the market for a new striker to replace Diego Costa who is ready to leave the Stamford Bridge this summer, with reports that he will be moving to China.
Everton forward Romelu Lukaku has also been linked with a return to the Stamford Bridge, but Conte fancies a move for Morata as he wants a reunion from their time at Juventus.
