Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi equalled the record of both Joseph Yobo and Victor Moses during the Premier League game with Chelsea on Sunday evening.
Ndidi maintained his record of playing in every Premier League game this season when he was given a start in the league game against Chelsea at the King Power Stadium during the weekend.
He equalled the Nigerian record held by both Joseph Yobo (in the colours of Everton during the 2006/07 season and Victor Moses (in the colours of Wigan Athletic during the 2011/12 campaign).
Ndidi lasted until midway into the second half of the Chelsea game before he was replaced by Japanese striker Shinji Okazaki in his farewell game for the club.
Okazaki was part of the title-winning team at Leicester City during the 2015/16 season and he’s expected to leave the club this summer.
The Chelsea game was his last match in the colours of the Foxes.
Ndidi and Okazaki were unable to get a win for Leicester City who finished their Premier League campaign with a goalless draw with Chelsea.
The result was enough to seal third spot for Chelsea ahead of London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues finished as the best team in the Premier League aside the top two teams, Liverpool and Chelsea.
