Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has been linked with a move to Premier League title contenders Liverpool again according to reports coming out of the media in Italy.
Calciomercato claim that the Polish international player is back on the radar of the Merseyside club despite recent reports which revealed that Napoli are close to signing him on a new contract at the club.
Zelinski was recently part of the Polish team that crashed out of last summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
Poland and Piotr Zelinski finished are the at the bottom of Group F in the tournament behind Senegal, Japan and group leaders Colombia.
Piotr Zelinski came close to joining Liverpool in 2016 only for him to sign for Napoli from fellow Italian Serie A club Udinese.
He has grown to become an important player for Napoli since his move to the club.
The 24-year-old has scored four goals in 26 league appearances to propel them into the top two spots on the Italian Serie A table.
In total, Piotr Zelinski has scored five goals in 36 games in all competitions.
Liverpool’s current midfielder has been heavily criticised for lack of goals and the signing of Zielinski would go a long way to add cutting edge and ruthlessness to the Reds’ midfield.
