Ajax Amsterdam skipper Matthijs De Ligt has revealed that he’s in no rush to decide his next club despite the intense transfer rumours linking him with a move away from his boyhood club.
Dutch international De Ligt came through the famed Ajax Amsterdam Academy before going on to captain the team at a young age.
He became the youngest captain ever in the history of Ajax Amsterdam at the age of 18.
The 19-year-old recently captained Ajax Amsterdam to a domestic double for the first time in over a decade and also helped the four-time European champions reach the Champions League semifinals before they were eliminated by North London giants Tottenham Hotspur.
His form for Ajax Amsterdam has attracted the interest of a lot of clubs on the European football scene.
Major European sides like French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Italian Serie A giants Juventus, German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have all registered their interest in the centre back.
Premier League outfits like Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are also not left out of the scramble for the talented player.
In his latest interview after the UEFA Nations League final, De Ligt told reporters that he won’t rush into a decision over his future.
De Ligt is likely to set his future club back to the tune of £75m.
