During the January transfer window there was speculation that Chelsea had inquire to sign Moussa Dembele from Celtic.

In a recent interview with Daily Records, his agent, Mamadi Fofana was quoted as saying the French player will remain with Celtic for another season.

The agent said: “I’d rather Moussa was playing in Scotland for the first team at a big club such as Celtic than being at an equally big club in a more prestigious league and playing for the Under-23 team.

“What is the point of that instead of Champions League with Celtic? As a player and as an agent, you have to use your brain.”

Dembele has no chance to survive in Chelsea and will for sure sit on the bench as Michy Batshuayi will confirm.

This season, the star player has scored 27 goals for Celtic but his speed, physical abilities with goal scoring records has made big clubs eager to sign the French man.

Although Celtic shows no sign to win the Champions League matches this season Dembele as scored three goals including scoring twice against Manchester City and also scoring twice when the French under 21 beat England.

Celtic signed the French Striker from Fulham for a reported £500,000 since it was an outside club transfer.
