Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is obviously pleased with his team’s performance following their recent win over Burton Albion.
And after the 4-1 victory on Wednesday night, the Portuguese tactician has praised the trio of Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard for a job well done.
Mourinho led his men into the game with full confidence after two wins on the straight – the 3-0 win over Basel in the Champions League and last weekend premier league victory over Everton.
Man United star player Anthony Martial was given the man of the match award after full-time as a result of his superb performances in the game. He scored his side’s fourth goal of the evening after goals from Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.
And when Jose was asked about Rashford’s performance after the game, the manager hailed the youngster alongside the trio of Martial, Mata and Lingard for their impressive performances at the game.
‘Everyone in [the] attacking area gave good dynamic and happiness to the team.’ Mourinho confessed.
The former Chelsea manager also expressed how glad he is that his men were professional and attached big value to the competition by taking it seriously
‘We look happy playing at the moment and that is what I want…the team enjoyed the game…so I’m happy with that.’ he said.
