Ahead of the summer transfer window, Manchester United have been so much linked with some of Monaco’s players.
The Monaco trio of Kylian Mbappe, Timeoue Bakayoko, and Bernardo Silva, are all linked with the Old Trafford club.
However, new reports indicates that Man United Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has prioritize Silva above both Bakayoko and Mbappe, and he is more determined to sign the Bernardo at the end of this season.
Right now, Monaco are sitting at the top of the French Ligue I table, and are favourites to lift the French top flight trophy at the end of this current campaign.
The French club have also made it through to the Champions League semifinal, and are set to play Juventus on Wednesday in the first leg of the duel.
Silva has been one of the pivotal members of the Monaco squad this season, and he contributed hugely to the French club’s impressive campaign. This season so far in 48 appearances for Monaco, he has scored eight times.
The Independent states that even though the Old Trafford club are still interested in Mbappe’s signature, Bernardo is now at the top of Jose’s wishlist.
Silva had been linked with Chelsea for some times now, and it appears Mourinho is set to ruin Antonio Conte’s plans over Silva during the summer transfer period.
The Portuguese manager will be handed a reasonable amount of money to invest in his squad this summer and money shouldn’t be much of an issue for him.
