Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that he will revert to his ‘existing options’ if he fails to sign Inter Milan winger, Ivan Perisic.
United are understood to be after Perisic this summer as Mourinho hopes to add firepower to his left flanks ahead of the new season but Inter Milan have pushed back the efforts of English giants by requesting for a huge transfer fee before allowing the 28-year-old leave this summer.
However, the Croatian is believed to be keen on moving to Old Trafford this summer after holding talks with United over a potential move.
Mourinho appears to have braced himself for the next season, conceding a defeat in his pursuit of Perisic and has claimed that he will have to revert to his existing options after failing to lure his desired target to play for him.
During his press conference ahead of their season opener against West Ham United, Mourinho highlighted that he has completed 75% of his transfer business and will happy to go with his current crop of players to run the flanks.
It is understood that United might make a last-ditch attempt to sign one more player before the end of the transfer window.
