Mourinho Is Not Happy With This Man United Star Player

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has explained that his decision to drop Henrikh Mkhitaryan last week was because the playmaker had ‘disappeared’ in recent games.

The Armenian playmaker was left out of the squad that won Newcastle United 4-1 last Saturday, and didn’t also participate in the midweek Champions League game against FC Basel.

Henrikh had started the term impressively, but his form dipped last month and he couldn’t make positive impacts when his side clashed with Liverpool and Chelsea away from home.

Although Jose Mourinho has recalled him for Saturday’s game against Brighton, the Portuguese tactician made it known that he dropped the playmaker due to his poor performances.

Speaking ahead of the clash with Brighton, Mourinho confessed he wasn’t pleased with Mkhitaryan’s last performances in his last four to five appearances.

Although the manager admits the Armenian started the season very well, Mourinho is not happy the player is now ‘disappearing’ in recent games, and he couldn’t help but give other players their chances.

“Others…have a chance, everybody works to have a chance. It’s as simple as that.” Jose said.

Herinkh is, however, likely to get another chance to prove himself on Saturday, although his presence may come at a cost for another member of the team.

Paul Pogba could be rested for the upcoming back-to-back premier league clashes with Arsenal and Manchester City.
