Liverpool are currently sitting on the second spot of the premier league table, and the fans are excited about this.
The reds kicked-off this season impressively, and it is hoped they will continue making their supporters happy after the boys returned from the international break.
They will be facing a tough test immediately they return back to premier league actions – a crunch clash with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Even though the boys impressively thrashed Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal 4-0 at Anfield last time, Guardiola’s side are a stronger team with strong stars who will give Liverpool some difficult moments.
Jurgen Klopp will, therefore, need to field his best stars to stand a chance against the Citizens at Manchester, and will be hoping for all his stars to return from their international duties with no injury.
Some days back, there were reports that Egyptian star player Mohamed Salah got injured while playing for his country against Uganda.
However, Egyptian team doctor Mohamed Abou El-Ela came out to ease the tension by declaring that the playmaker is injury free. He also assured that the former AS Roma player will be able to feature in the second World Cup qualifier against Uganda on Tuesday night.
True to his words (which is good news for Liverpool fans), the 25-year-old played for Egypt and provided the assist that made his country get a 1-0 win over Uganda in the 89th minute!
Salah has been impressive since joining Liverpool this summer and has scored 3 goals in 5 appearances, with 2 assists.
