Manchester United have renewed interest in Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, holding new talks with the Croatian, according to reports.
The 28-year-old has been tipped to leave the San Siro this summer, with reports of keen interest from Manchester United after Jose Mourinho was spotted in Zagreb, Croatia during the last international break.
Reports in the Italian outlet La Gazaetta dello Sport have it that Inter Milan sporting director, Piero Ausilio has jetted into England this week to discuss the details of deal over a potential move with Manchester United
There are suggestions that the Italian giants are ready to cash in on the winger for a reported fee of £51million and Ausilio is said to have traveled to France earlier this week to thrash out deals for Angel Di Maria, Marquinhos and Grzegorz Krychowiak from Paris Saint Germain.
Ivan Perisic’s former agent Tonci Martic last week told Vercenji: ‘I have no doubts that Inter have a plan to sell Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic this summer,’
‘Even if there has long been speculation about the €60m that Manchester United offered for Perisic, I discovered that Ivan has a better and much more attractive option than Manchester, but it’s all being kept very quiet.
‘In that case, perhaps Inter would receive less money for the transfer and Perisic would earn less than United are offering, but he would have a better chance of winning something.
‘In sport it is important to live in harmony with the best player in the world and win the Champions League.’
