United are buoyed by reports that the club hierarchy at the Santiago Bernabeu are ready to cash in on the winger due to his incessant injuries that have kept him out of some big games despite being one of the key players.
It is understood that Gareth Bale’s involvement in the Champions League final next Saturday could play a major role in a potential deal for the winger, although the player is not expected to start the game due to fitness issues.
Reports in the Independent, few officials at Real Madrid want the club to sell the winger after initial talks with Manchester United but the club president Florentino Perez is a keen admirer of Bale’s attributes but could be convinced with a good offer.
