Another game, another victory for Manchester United!

Well, we could rightly say Mourinho and his boys have given United fans all over the world a superb Christmas gift.

It’s 3-1, and here is how the boys fared on the pitch:

Paul Pogba 8

The Frenchman was simply fantastic with his masterclass performance. He created wonderful chances as he continue driving forward from deep and producing wonderful turns. His impact was felt all over the pitch. Pogba is simply a wonderful player.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan 7

The Armenian came in as a substitute and showed his recent injury couldn’t take off his hot form. His superb display was crowned with a magnificent goal – which had been tagged by some people as the goal of the season.

Antonio Valencia 7

The winger-turned-fullback showed he still got the confidence of a bold winger as he was fearlessly going forward and was linking up well with Juan Mata occasionally. He was also reliable to the defence department whenever the opponents charged forward.

Daley Blind 7

Blind started the match sluggishly, but was quick to compose himself at his left-back position. He scored the opening goal at first half.

Michael Carrick 7

The veteran proved once again to be Mourinho’s most consistent player. He, as always, controlled all proceedings in the midfield.

Ander Herrera 7

Herrera was useful both front and back. He made a handful of vital interceptions to stop the opponents.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic 7

The Swede legend, though was a thorn in Sunderland’s defence, lacked his known level of potency in front of goal. Nevertheless, he gave United the second goal, making it his 17th since arriving the Old Trafford at summer.

David de Gea 6

The goalkeeper wasn’t bothered much, except the important save of Sebastian Larrson attack in the first half.

Phil Jones 6

He was disturbed occasionally by Nigerian Victor Anichebe. However, he held on till full time.

Marcos Rojo 6

The Argentine defender put on what could be described as a commanding performance. He did his best in the game.

Jesse Lingard 6

Though he couldn’t release fully what we saw him did against West Brom, he was lively from the left side wing.

Juan Mata 6

Even though his presence wasn’t fully seen on the pitch, he still managed to produce some smart touches and turns.
