Paris Saint Germain full-back Serge Aurier has decided to snub interest from Manchester United for a move to Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.
The 25-year-old has been in the news in recent months due to controversies over his future in France after falling out of favour under Unai Emery last season.
Aurier was left out of Paris Saint Germain preseason squad this summer, with reports that Emery gave him the opportunity to sort his future ahead of the new season.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is understood to be after a younger right-back and has identified the Ivorien as a perfect cover for Antonio Valencia who has been a brilliant figure for the Red Devils but has gone past the 30-year mark.
Prior reports suggested that the defender had agreed on a move to Old Trafford which was subject to his appeal for a ban into the United Kingdom following his suspended jail sentence in France after a boozy row that involved assaulting a Police officer.
However, reports in French outlet L’Equipe claim that Tottenham Hotspur have moved ahead of Manchester United in the pursuit of Serge Aurier.
The report also have it that the defender have snubbed interest from other English clubs and will now join Spurs, who are looking to sign a replacement for Kyle Walker.
