According to new reports, Santos star player Lucas Lima has caught the attention of premier league giants Manchester United, and the Old Trafford club are interested in getting his signature.
Lima has been very much impressive in recent times and his form has caught the attention of a handful of top European clubs.
And the 27-year-old’s agent Luccas Badia has made it known that several clubs are hunting for the player’s signature, including Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.
Speaking to Haberturk, Badia made it known that other top sides including Inter Milan, AS Roma, Barcelona, are keeping close tabs on his client and that his contract at Santos expires in December – which means he will be free to join a new club for the second half of the European season.
It was also made known that both Crystal Palace and Fenerbahce made summer offers for the attacking midfielder, but nothing come out of it.
Manchester United are nevertheless yet to make a solid move for Lucas but something is likely to happen when the winter transfer window open.
Jose Mourinho splashed lots of cash to strengthened his frontline significantly in the summer by bringing in Romelu Lukaku from Everton. The Belgium international has already scored seven goals for his new side so far this season, and Mourinho won’t mind adding more quality to his team by bringing in Lima.
