Manchester United are ready to offer Luke Shaw in a potential deal for Danny Rose, according to reports.
The Red Devils are believed to be keen on strengthening their defence line ahead of the new season and even targeted Rose before he sustained a knee injury.
The 27-year-old is known for his explosive style of play, and has hinted a potential move away from White Hart Lane this summer, after coming out to criticise the transfer situation at the side where he has spent a decade.
United boss, Jose Mourinho is understood to be a keen admirer of Rose’s ability and could move for him following his outburst about Spurs’ transfer activity.
There are suggestions that Mourinho might be the real reason why the Englishman made those comments to the Sun, sparking speculations that an Old Trafford move might be imminent.
Luke Shaw, on the other hand, has been a frustrated figure under Mourinho due to his lack of chances with reports that the player will be offloaded this summer.
Reports in the Daily Record claim that Manchester United are considering a move for Danny Rose and will be ready to include Shaw in a potential deal.
Although, it is understood that Spurs are not open to selling their players this summer following the departure of Kyle Walker to Manchester City.
