Manchester United have made contact with RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg over a potential move, according to reports.
The Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has made clear his intentions to sign two more players this summer market following the arrivals of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku, sparking several speculations in the window.
Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic is believed to be a priority target for United to fill the left wing but the Italian giants have blocked a move for the winger unless a transfer fee is met with reports that they are holding out for a £55 million fee.
Mourinho was said to have held transfer talks with the player’s representatives and his confident that the player wants an Old Trafford move but might have pulled out a deal to sign the Croatian according to reports in Calciomercato claiming that United have abandoned the deal to sign Perisic and will now move for RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg.
The Sweden international shares the same agent with Manchester United summer signing, Victor Lindelof and could be an ideal addition to the Old Trafford.
However, United will have to beat competition from Liverpool and Arsenal who have both been linked with moves for Forsberg earlier this summer.
