According to the Mail, Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is due to undergo medical at Serie A side Lazio on Monday as he puts the finishing touches on a transfer to the Italian club.
According to the publication, Lazio have agreed to pay Liverpool £5million for the thirty-year-old Brazilian.
The Mail report the current longest serving Red is in talks with Lazio to agree on personal terms as they hope to seal his signature early next week.
This follows Times correspondent Paul Joyce claim on his personal Twitter handle yesterday that the Serie A heavyweight had submitted a £5million offer for Lucas.
Lucas is now set to end his 10-year spell at Anfield after joining from Brazilian club Gremio back in 2007.
Lucas has been a key feature and popular member of the Liverpool team since being captured by former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez but his game time has reduced since current boss Jurgen Klopp joined Liverpool.
The Brazilian played 31 matches across all competitions last term but made just 12 appearances in the Premier League, and he now looks to have played the last of his 346 matches for the Merseysiders.
Lazio are currently coached by Simone Inzaghi and will play in the UEFA Europa League next season after finishing fifth in the Serie A.
